New Staff & Volunteer Checklist
All new staff and volunteers will undergo a screening process consisting of:
- The completion of an application.
- A face-to-face interview with at least 2 staff.
- Current Criminal Record and a Vulnerable Sector checks.
- Sign a declaration of confidentiality.
- Sign a disclaimer affirming participation in education, training/orientation courses and team meetings.
Staff must complete the following as part of the hiring process:
- Obtain a copy of:
- Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check
- Void cheque for direct deposit
- Signed copies of:
- Declaration of Confidentiality (staff signature also required)
- Education & Training Disclaimer
- Confirm phone number and e-mail for work
- Write letter of offer and sign together (if staff)
