This year’s menu is another delicious spread, made by our amazing friends at Cup of Soul. Here’s a look at what is being served up:
Appetizer: Tomato Basil Soup or Mixed Green Salad
Main: Chicken & Gravy or Braised Beef, served with a savoury biscuit, roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes
Dessert: Apple Ginger or Blueberry Cake, served with whipped cream
Gluten free options are available upon request.
Spread the word and make plans to have dinner together with friends and family on October 19th!
Over the last year, we’ve had amazing support from our Corporate Supporters. Businesses, organizations and more have enabled us to focus on what matters: offering more food, programs and support for our community. Thank you to the following supporters for being there for us the past year:

We already have new names being added to the list for 2023-2024. Join in the support, get recognized in the community and help others get access to the programs they need.
Would you like to see more garden activities going into the fall and winter? We’re looking for Corporate Supporters to help us bring more events forward in the coming months.
This support is more important than ever before. The garden has no stable source of funding, meaning it is reliant on whatever grants and funds we can secure each year. Receiving support can increase the number of times we can hold events or even create new programs to address areas of need in the community.
It’s not all about us, either! Corporate Supporters get recognized in this newsletter, on our Facebook page and in our Annual Report each year for their contributions towards the community. There are also opportunities to advertise through our Facebook page, on our sign on Highway 214and on East Hants Community Rider vehicles.
So whether it’s a free, hot meal for the community, keeping our freezer stocked with healthy, home-cooked meals or a chance to showcase your community spirit, we would love to chat with you about how you can support our programs!
