Every year, Family Literacy Day happens on January 27th. It’s a chance to learn, grow and have fun as a family. This year’s theme for Family Literacy Day is “make mealtime family learning time.” To celebrate, East Hants Community Learning Association and East Hants Family Resource Centre are teaming up for a FREE, fun activity we like to call Pizza vs. Pasta.
You get a bag of FREE supplies for two recipes: mini-naan pizzas and chicken alfredo pasta. You’ll also get:
- activity books
- a cookbook
- snacks & treats

Pick up time for your package is on Tuesday, January 27th between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., 6 and 7:30 p.m. Pick up will be at the front door of our office (224 Highway 214, the old Elmsdale school building).
